Hidden Genius is WorldUpstart Impacts’ platform for advancing overlooked innovators and underfunded areas of science. We build targeted programs that help early-stage ventures overcome the barriers that too often prevent high-potential innovation from reaching patients, markets, and communities. We focus where traditional innovation systems often fall short—helping promising science and strong founders get the strategic support they need to move forward.
Today, Hidden Genius includes two distinct initiatives:
- HiveBio Pilot supported underrepresented founders in Life Sciences and MedTech with the mentorship, commercialization guidance, and funding readiness support needed to move their companies forward.
- Women’s Health Program is focused on one of the most overlooked areas in healthcare despite its enormous impact. Women’s health innovation extends far beyond reproductive health. Women experience many diseases differently than men—including in cardiovascular disease, cancer, autoimmune disorders, and neurological conditions—yet these differences remain too often under-researched and under-addressed. We are working to help change that by supporting innovators building solutions across this broader landscape.
